1861 Bronze Six Pounder

The rare 6 Pounder bronze gun, Serial number 194 was made by Cyrus Alger of Boston in September of 1861. The tube has a beautiful green patina. It is marked CA & Co. on one trunnion, and 1861 on the other. The muzzle is marked 194. This tube was sold by Gary Hendershott in 2004 for $57,500 and the purchaser then mounted it on a high quality Steen Ordnance Works carriage. (I just purchased a Paulson Brothers Ordnance all weather (Aluminum, the same as the National Park Service uses) carriage and it was more than 18k by itself) You may pick the cannon up in the deep South, or I will deliver it anywhere in the lower 48 states for $3,000.00 Price $79,000.00 USD
